Ancient pyramids were giant 'power plants' after jaw-dropping discovery from scientists
The Great Pyramid of Giza might not have been a pharaoh's tomb but instead a giant power plant, it has been revealed.
Boffins have figured out, by sending electromagnetic waves into the pyramid, energy is collected in certain parts, such as the famous King's Tomb and Queen's Tomb. It is thought that the great wonder of the world was designed and built in such a way that it could purposely store energy.
Retired aerospace engineer Christopher Dunn, was recently chatting to Joe Rogan about the Egyptians and briefly explained how it would have worked.
He said: "That's a part of the theory in the Giza power plant. There are two chemicals that are introduced into the chamber, and the chemicals mix, and they boil off hydrogen (creating energy).
